THE ROLLRIGHT RITUAL

A unique archive recording (1973) by W G Gray, digitally remastered. With the long lost voices of W G Gray, R J Stewart, and a team of ritualists, now recovered! Original music, recorded in the 1970's, by R J Stewart. This recording was made around the time of the first publication of W G Gray's ground breaking book on the Rollright Stones, an ancient standing stone complex in Oxfordshire. Gray created a classic pagan group ritual from his received insights at the stones, which has influenced many practitioners, writers, and magicians to this day.
A royalty from this CD goes to support the British Sangreal Lodge founded by W G Gray, and run by his nephew Marcus Claridge.

Durdabhla, Murmur of the Wild Apple Trees on CD

Celtic stories, harp music, and poetry through time.

Durdabhla, performed by Peter Berry, celebrates Irish bardic tradition, combining poetry and story-telling with Celtic harp music. The Voyage of Bran is the featured story, based on ancient tradition, with other tracks including poems by W. B. Yeats and Fiona McLeod . The theme of murmuring apple boughs is woven throughout the stories and poems: "Durdabhla" (pronounced dur- Dav- luh) is an ancient Irish word connected to the harp, meaning "murmur of the wild apple trees."

One of the harps heard here is an exquisite replica of a medieval Irish harp strung with high-tension brass strings, constructed with a one-piece willow sound box and an ancient bogwood soundboard. There are eight traditional harp airs and laments on this CD.

Peter Berry performs and records in the Seattle area. Peter is a long time associate of RJ Stewart, co-ordinates and teaches Inner Temple Traditions Inner Convocation workshops, and has performed at events, workshops, and concerts with RJ.

Calling in the Elements on CD

The Elemental Chants and Calls on this CD are based on a sacro-magical chant system developed by R J Stewart between 1972 and 1985. There is no requirement to be a musician or a singer to use these chants, they can be used without musical expertise.
